Putting together a new Urakait font thing is always interesting. I’m two computers out from having one with the old font face (seriously, has it been that long? O_o; ) and as such had to find something else.
One outlined Arcanum and several glows later, there it is, being something resembling legible, and with nice hand-painted boxes like the Rod gal got. <3 It’s not perfect, but rarely is anything I use on its first run.
Speaking of first runs, I found a brush in Painter that behaves much like the G pen in Manga Studio (Painter’s own pens kinda… don’t do much different than using the pencils). One panel here is drawn with my assortment of digital 2B’s, the rest are all with this Gouache stuff. I like it because it’s what I’ve preferred for the linework since the manga pages last chapter, but at the same time it means I have to be a lot more conscious of my line weights.
What do you think?
